Favorite books, new releases, bestsellers: In the NDR book podcast eat.READ.sleep, the three hosts Katharina Mahrenholtz, Daniel Kaiser and Jan Ehlert give tips and orientation on the book market. On June 10, the popular podcast will celebrate its two-year anniversary with an XXL episode that also provides insights into private life.
Episode 63 of eat.READ.sleep celebrates its anniversary with a birthday cocktail
Host Daniel Kaiser invites you to his apartment and cooks the eat.READ.sleep. birthday menu together with his fellow campers. Jan Ehlert proves his qualities as a bartender and mixes a birthday cocktail created by the eat.READ.sleep community. And Katharina Mahrenholtz got fresh herbs for the “Green Sauce à la Goethe”: The main course of the episode is supposed to be a homage to the poet prince – or is his passion for green sauce just a legend?
As always, however, the books play the leading role: There are arguments about the bestseller “A Question of Chemistry”, there is agreement about the all-time favorite “Little Women”, but not about the jewelery edition, which Daniel Kaiser requested from Katharina Mahrenholtz bought. In between there are anecdotes from two years of podcast, insights into Daniel Kaiser’s cutlery drawer and a surprise firework display at the end.
Also appearing: a literary foreign journal, a pastiche of the art market and a very special quiz: because this time the questions come from the eat.READ.sleep community.
