Wydad qualifies for the Champions League final

Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca booked the ticket to qualify for the CAF Champions League final, despite its positive draw with Angolan Petro Atlético, with one goal for each team, in a meeting held at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.

Petro Atletico advanced through Gilson in the 21st minute, but Amin Farhan scored the equalizer for Wydad in the 27th minute.

Wydad benefited from the result of the first leg match that was held in Angola last Saturday, where the Moroccan team won 3-1, bringing the total of the two matches (4-2).

The qualified Wydad team is awaiting the second match, which will combine Algeria’s ES Setif and Al-Ahly, where the Red team won the first leg (4-0).

The final match, which will be the first party of Wydad team, is scheduled to be held in Morocco on the 30th of this month.
